Each Business Function provides specific outputs to keep an organisation running smoothly. Are you doing everything that is required? Can you keep up with changes in the law and best practice?
Every organisation uses business functions in differing degrees. They may not put a name to the functions or have teams or even individuals to look after them, but they should do them all at one point or another.
To be in ‘control’ of your organisation you need to ‘understand’ what makes it up. The Keystones are a logical grouping of elements that support your organisation. Keystones provide a structure, support prioritising and makes sure you’ve considered everything before starting your Initiatives for improvement.
We all have personal Core Values. There are the things that we find most important. Values influence our decision making and life choices. Corporate Values or Company Values perform the same job as personal core values but has an additional challenge.
Every organisation should be able to describe what they see as their future. A statement of this Vision should reveal what an organisation most hopes to be and what they want to achieve in the long term. But how do you write a Vision statement?
